FibriMat F450, 100% short flax fiber non-woven, is used to reinforce composites or create thickness. This non-woven can be used alone or in combination with other reinforcements.
It is a biobased alternative to standard reinforcements that meets the expectations of composite manufacturers :
- Low environmental impact
- Easy drapability
- Good deformability for complex shapes
- User friendliness (non-aggressive fibers for the skin)
FibriMat can be used with all types of liquid thermoset resins (epoxy, unsaturated polyester, vinylester, …) using infusion or RTM process.
Combined with bio-based resins, it offers a real potential to reduce the environmental footprint of composite parts.
